Rad Shredder!!!

Ok very important Q: What board should I buy?

Have a Gentem Giant Manta and a Gentem Chaser.  Also Jones Solution Split.  I could  go another pow specific split or a more all mountain solid.  If I go solid, want something 156-158, ww at least 260, some taper, even if minimal, needs some camber.  Want it to be a more playful deck for spring/early season.

Burton one hitter or free thinker wide

US Cadet 159 (almost 158)

US Cadet is a solid rec. Also the Hightide Draft Dodger or K2 Eighty Seven...157 in both.

LOL thanks guys.  In typical board-whoring fashion, I had one that I liked and sold it to @highme.  I regret it...

I had the 160 so maybe I will pick up a 157.

mmm...

If you already had a Super 8, and you don't want it again, I think the Rome Ravine should check most of the boxes

skidding turns since 2011

Hmmm maybe 159 cadet.  Also looking at the 159 horizon but concerned it is "cheaper"

Has an extruded base, so not really on my radar, and is only 25.6 waist in the biggest 155 size. But, if it's for more early/late season conditions, that might even be better--cheaper to own and easier to repair. Kind of why I've always kept a slush slasher in the quiver, and am considering Lobster's upcoming version of the Bataleon Party Wave for next season.

Ravine is awesome, but I think too soft for most people here.  Hope next year’s is stiffer.

I wonder what it feels like in a larger size?  I've been eyeing the 166 as an all-mountain fun board.  That and the Super 8 166 are on my short list.

I’d be looking at the cadet 159 or even a PYL 159 or 160w or an Endeavor maverick? @smittyspartan

Got hold of a used Offshore Sea Biscuit 150 on a good deal. Mint condition, just a few little skiier marks on the tail.

Cant wait to give her a razz!

Score! Rode a Sea Biscuit in Japow...loved it. Hoping to pick up a 150 & 138 at some point...

Nice! How did you find the ride? The craftsmanship is A1, feels very well built and a nice solid medium flex.

Yeah all their boards are made with the highest level of QC. When they came up with the design for the Sea Biscuit, they were looking for something similar to a 420. I'd call it a cross between that and the Lib JL short fat, because it's similar in shape to both while somewhere in the middle for flex. I think the best way to describe it is that it rides like a skateboard in pow and through natural terrain features.

that ride sounds a lot like my FT fishcuit. f'n love that board. might have to check out one of these, too. like i need moar boardz...
