Can't wait to ride this! Shortest deck I've owned since 1996.

154cm
6m sidecut
26.8cm waist
22mm taper
R/C/R

This should be a tight tree pow slayer, and a side hit fun machine.

Is that based on the new khyber?

To a certain extent, yes. It has the Khyber nose/tail shapes and its r/c/r profile, but all the specs are mine (ww, sidecut, taper, length )

Yeah they hurt the back of my leg. But I think it might have been because the adv were too soft. I got these for $140 eBay best offer brand new without box so I couldn't pass them up. I did just buy the new Vans Verse Blake Pauls so I'll be comparing the two. I want Adidas to work because of the smaller length foot print. (not that it really matter since at the moment all my boards are over 26.2 ww.)

Been contemplating Addidas for the smaller foot print but none of my local shops stock them. Is the foot print noticeably smaller? I have 11.5 boots so any reduced foot print is tempting

Best boots to reduce footprint is Ride. You can both size down a bit, plus they have a very reduced footprint.

Also, Slime Tongue is amazing.

Agree about Ride boots 100%

Cool. Was thinking adiddas or Ride Fuse if I can find some to try on

Yes Adidas foot print is much smaller. I am an 11.5 in TM3 and an 11 in vans and I am a 10.5 in Adidas. I tried on the ride fuse one of the most uncomfortable boots I've tried on. So for sure try on whatever boot you get. I loved the idea of the fuse basically the same thing as the vans infuse but the vans infuse was on a different level of comfort for me.

Ride used to have a pretty small footprint. Since last season not anymore sadly.
I ordered  the fuse and they were a lot bigger than my Adidas Tacticals. (see pic attached)

@parker

I'd wager that it's more important to compare boots that FIT the same feet the same way instead of comparing sizes by numbers.

Simply, because some manufacturers seem to have weird feet models to match their boots to and design them way too small/big...

I'm not really understanding your point.

The boots from brand A in size 10 fit me just as well as the boots from brand B in size 8.5...

Does it make sense to compare shoes from both brands in size 10 each, then?

Not in my opinion...

i think he's saying that rarely does a person fit well in the same size in each brand (e.g. 10 burton, 10 addidas, 10 ride, etc), so it makes more sense to compare the different boots that fit an individuals foot (which might be a 10 burton, 9 adidas, 9.5 ride).

But, every foot is different and i think people are always pretty interested in seeing footprint size on boots of the same measurement size.

I have really narrow feet and need size 11 ThirtyTwo, 10.5 Vans, Flow, K2 and Adidas, and 10 in Salomon and Ride.  DC are no fit for me... I kinda fit 10.5 but get too much heel lift.

But from Adidas I only tried the Blauvelt. Haven't tried the newer fancy ones...

Out of all of them, the best for narrow feet are ThirtyTwo and Salomon.  I swapped the liners in my Vans Verse right away... too soft and a bit too roomy.

I also have narrow feet, and I have never heard thirtytwo described as good for narrow feet. I actually have a pair of TM-2 Scott Stevens colorway boots from three? years ago that I gave up on after less than 10 days because the liners immediately packed out so wide that I could shift my entire foot around inside them - though my toes were still pressing against the end. Widest boots I have ever owned.

For my narrow foot, Burton and Salomon have the narrowest fits - especially now that nike is out of the mix.

Salomon is the best of the 3, for narrow feet, IMO... but every feet is different
