Love that topsheet.
Love that shape!! 😀
Between this and the McWayfinder I'm seriously tempted on a Lib/GNU.
I have 4 boards in the radar to help expedite my divorce: those two^, Warpig and Stun Gun.

Thanks man. That HR will be a wild card. It has a 5.5m SCR, which I just may hate, but there's only one way to find out.
Yeah, the Kindred is a big board for sure - 179 length, 32.5-26.8-30.7, 9m average sidecut (it runs progressively from roughly 8m in the nose to roughly 10m in the tail). I like longer boards than most, and almost all of my touring is above treeline, so I don't need it to be super nimble. It's fast and stable. The flex is actually pretty middle of the road and there is plenty of rocker in the nose and the tail (plus 7 or 8 mms camber), so it's not a hard board to ride. Also, I was 255 lbs when Evan built that one for me. I'm down to 200-205 now, so I'll go shorter the next time I'm looking to fill that slot in my quiver, probably in the 169-172 range.

I admit I don't pay much attn. to DC boards but I looked at that HR after seeing it in your lineup and it looks legit.
Are DC out of the mothership?

Yeah dude, they are pressed at the Mothership these days.
They were never on my radar either before I saw the HR. I had one or maybe two pairs of DCs back in the day, and I found them to skate like shit, so I sort of wrote the brand off for twenty years.
Last year I spent a day hunting tree pow a week after a storm on my buddy's Cool Bean 150. While it had some qualities that I really liked in that application, I couldn't stand the flat camber or the lack of tail. Then I saw the specs on the HR and figured I would get some of the qualities of a shortfat while still having camber and a tail to lean on when landing little jumps and drops. It has some interesting specs. Though it's a 160, it has a tiny, 110 cm effective edge (~the same as a 148 Warpig) and a borderline microscopic sidecut radius (5.5m).
It was a gamble, admittedly. I think it will either be a ton of fun, or it will ride like total dog shit. Hopefully, it will be the former more so than the latter, but I honestly think the probability of either is a coin flip right now. I fear it will be a total twitchfest.
Either way, I'll be sure to share my experiences once I have a good sense of it.
