@migfullbag, not sure if you're aware, but you got a call out in AngrySnowboarder podcast/YT vid 😅. Adding the link to the video. Starts around the 9:15 min mark.

Funny enough, his opinion seems complete opposite of how you've been here on Ezlounge and/or from what I've observed at least. Seems pretty easy to communicate and arrange demoing your boards etc. But ya, figured you'd prob want to know lol.

@migfullbag have you listened to this yet? 😂

Yeah, did not listen to all of it cause I did not have the time, but started where you suggested for a minute or two. He seems to be pissed off at Elevated Surfcraft about something and threw me under the same bus, apparently. From what I can remember, we exchanged a couple emails, and/or PMs on SBF, back in 2014 or 2015 about me sending a board for him to review. I think I didn't follow through on his last email/message. I probably just forgot, or it maybe was because of stuff happening in my personal life back then. But that's not an excuse, I should have followed through anyway. That being said, if he took that as me voluntarily  being difficult to work with, being a giant pain in the dick, or being condescending towards him, he couldn't be more wrong. But that's not really surprising either, as that is his marketing gimmick. He is the "Angry Snowboarder", after all... LOL

He reminds me of my ex. Their behavior makes no one want to deal with them, yet they  constantly blame everyone but themselves, painting others as the bad guy. But like you said, that’s his “thing.”

Lol ya, it was only that part of the segment that I figured you'd want/need to hear. And had a feeling it came down to what you mentioned. Cos again, his perception of you contradicted with how you've been on here. Thanks for the clarity, either way.

Lifer is actually  a 166, although it feels much shorter...

Looking forward to riding mine again. Also the blade. Thinking about steeper angles on the latter... instead of 27/6, maybe at least 9 on the back, if not 30/9. Feels like it wants it.

Personaly, I try to keep the same splay. That's what feels best for me. So if I bump the back from 6 to 9, I will bump the front from 27 to 30.

The sweet spot for me on my carving deck has been +36/+12.  The added rotation on the back foot makes heelsides feel super nice.

That’s what I have normally always done, but when carving, I mostly feel that I want a notch more on the back foot, in my case, coming from 27/6. I tried 30/9 last year very briefly (I think on the Mullair) but it wasn’t enough time to really figure out how I felt about it, and it wasn’t during carving.

@Spenser how far up do you ride on the sidecut for groomers on the BD?  I set myself one insert pack back from the farthest forward, and then slid the bindings forward.  Still looks like its in the back seat...

I’m anticipating Sierra Cement (super hard pack) conditions next week...

After riding it a few different ways, I settled on putting the back foot all the way forward. Obviously, your actual “set-forward” will depend on your stance with from there. I’m at 22” for reference

@mikehoncho Whoa, no Burton deck or bindings?! Not even your signature Bluebird wax sticker? I do see it on the shopvac and kid's board though hahaha.
