profile picture please? i'm curious what "pow camber" is, exactly. just another name for s-rocker? how much camber? etc. also found it interesting that it has no setback. wish they, and all other board companies (*cough*mervin*cough*), would list EE instead of just running/contact length. 😤

Hope these pics help..

The camber starts just before the front inserts and ends about 7cm after the back inserts. The tail kick is higher than the nose kick. Camber is about 4mm.

Thought you guys and girls might get a kick out of an edit I just made on Russell Winfield, showcasing some old photos and film from early on in his career, and also some new footage from this years Howly Bowly and the Offshore factory. Also features Dale Rehberg and Roan Rogers for all those that lived and breathed snowboarding in the 90's.

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer/winter depending on your Hemisphere, and hopefully get to share some turns next time anyone is in Niseko.

P.s Not sure if I am to post videos in here, or in a certain section. Still total forum newbie! ha

@matti86 Send me a private a msg with your email, and I can send you the latest catalogue. Sorry about the price to ship to Europe, unfortunately I can not find a cheaper way. I have had some European friends look into it me, but it seems FedEx is the cheapest. I even take a hit on shipping, to try and make it more affordable. But unlike other brands, who have high prices, and even higher margins, my boards are actually made in Niseko, and very limited, so I do not have much wiggle room. Maybe you should come to Japan, and I can show you around, and demo some boards!

Open invite? I might swing by this season. I live down in Kanagawa and I'm thinking of doing a multi-week road trip ending up in Hokkaido. I'd love to demo some boards. Got to check a few out at Mt. Baker Snowboard Shop a few years back. Coincidentally, Russ was in the shop that day.

@yukiotokosama Anyone is always welcome to swing by my factory and check it out, and demo some boards. Had a few crew from on here last season come by. Always nice to meet face to face.

I am located just out of Niseko at Moiwa, at the base of the lifts. So you can get some boards, and walk up and test straight from the factory.

You can email me at info@offshoresnowshapes.com, or send me a msg on social media, and we can line up a visit. If you need any help/info with your road trip, let me know. Stoked to hear you got to check some boards out at Baker.

@highme Haha Thank you for letting me know the rules. I am all for them!

Just wanted to double check, I hate feeling like I am pushing stuff on here. Being small, self promotion is important, but doesn't really fit my personal style. But at the same time, I want people to know what I am doing.

Stoked you like the vid too man, cheers.

Not to speak for others, but I think you'll find that as long as you sincerely engage the community here, we enjoy your presence and don't mind the promoting. We're tech nerds and we've responded well (even with some purchases I think) in the past when folks from specific brands have indulged us with tech details (i.e. Nose, Mig, that ex-board designer from Smokin, I think someone from Rome even was here briefly in one of the previous iterations of the forum), but that isn't to say that we have some sort of unwritten rule that sort of dialog is expected.

Although I do like the trolling that ensues when someone's first post ends up as a peddling sales pitch for their business.

you should make a wider board- I dig what you are doing and the boards look very well made. I wanted to ride one last year when I was at Moiwa but after reading all the spec sheets, there was nothing that fit my stance or waist width requirements. Cheers, shred on!

Wider and longer would be something that I would be interested in - though I know that I'm an outlier in terms of the board sizes that work best for my large frame. Any chance that you've got boards in the pipeline with 270+ waistwidths and 305+ noses AND tails? A 166+ length is also something I looks for.
