I don’t get it, what’s the point? The market is pretty small and getting smaller, there isn’t much money left in it and unless it’s some rebranded junk, why even bother?

It's a joke. That is a Ride boot that has been photoshopped.

Base of the One Hitter.

Screenshot 20181204 221519 Instagram

Actually, based on that tail this looks like their other new board called Hometown Hero. Similar base and topsheet aesthetics as One Hitter, but w/ a blunted tail instead of the moon tail. And slightly more taper @ 12mm and stiffer (mid stiff flex). Narrower ww's, as well (156 @ 25.2cm ww/ 160 @ 25.8cm ww)

Also, that new big gun Moon Buggy is only in a 168cm (27.2cm ww).

And lastly, that other board I mentioned before that starts at 158cm (25.2cm ww) is also in the stiffer range. But has a "spooned" 3D nose & 10mm taper. (162cm @ 25.5cm ww/166cm @26cm ww). Base looks similar to K2 Joy Driver colour scheme this yr, minus the letters. Called Leader Board.

All are Directional camber. Blunted noses and black topsheets (w/ faint dark grey accents? kinda like CX topsheet this yr).

*Moon Buggy is Directional Flat Top/Rounded nose/medium flex

I was in Stowe earlier today. See a guy riding with next year’s AK457 kit and hometown hero. Pretty sick.

Anyone knows if Burton will offer more park capable models next year? Maybe in Kilroy line or FT line?

yayyy Burton back at it again with 252-255 ww's yayyyyyyy

They finally answered everyone's dying need for booting out unless you ride a 168.  I think it's all a ploy to prevent people from progressing their carving and instead infect the whole world with the "B arm"...you know that lovely back hand waving straight up in the air thing that the whole B team seems to enjoy doing.

And why directional flat top on the moon buggy? Was keen until I saw that. What kind of rider looking at 168 with a ww of 27.2 is gonna be afraid of a bit of camber?

Why directional flat top ever for that matter

They're apparently aiming for it to be a "playfully plus sized rig" lol. But ya, I was also wondering the same thing.

It also has a pin-like tail & 20mm taper.

Why does a large board inherently have to mean that regular camber should be present? They're going to build the board to provide a certain type of ride not blindly match camber profiles to board length. Look at the gentem TT @ 168cm with flat camber...I'm sure that thing rides juuust fine

Paused at the glimpse of the Black Label. Looks sexy, but I'm really comfy with Nitros, so don't see the need to change. I'd venture to guess that most Romes ride pretty similar to Nitros given the metal heelcup and adjustability.

I agree, and flat to rocker just gives a board that buoyancy feel in pow that camber tends to fight unless mitigated by some other factors, like softer flex, more tip rocker or sheer length. I don't mind camber in pow, but much prefer other attributes. Plus I have so many boards, I don't really need extreme versatility..
