The Niche Theme is looking nice. 155 has about 1cm of camber, feels snappy and quite burly. The 1819 Aether has a less pronounced rocker zone and also camber sections seeem lower. Bit heavier and thicker core profiling as well. Was looking at a 157 1819 kazu at a shop and it's significantly thicker and heavier than my 1617.

Are there reports on a lot of variance or do they just change stuff from year to year? I know mothership is greedy as fuck and a couple brands are jumping ship and even more are at least dissatisfied (late deliveries, quality issues..)

Edit: Shit, totally wrong thread.

I think i might buy an outsiders 56 to replace the mod which has become a chore to keep into shape. And i feel weird about it cause its kind of not within my preferred specs yet is the only board i think of buying. I am mad. 🤨

A fresh pair of bindings would also be nice so i don't have to switch around.

What about the Rome Buckshot?

Appears to be on the softer side. Want something med to stiff.

No Burton yet.. maybe see what deep winter release brings?

Yeah. Hah. I meant greedy to the point that they're taking too many brands in, more than they can handle and that can be seen in the quality issues and late deliveries. The late deliveries being intentional to get theirs in first, I reallly don't know. Just spoke to some angry but maybe biased insiders.

Fish 3d doesn't sound good.

Fingers crossed that it is a reference to the fish design from back when it had the 3D pattern. That board with “directional camber” and channel = 👌

Then again, that’s basically the goldfish & blackscales

Sadly it sound more like a base "shape". One can hope though.

I believe the Kilroy with spoon/tbt tips is called the 3D, so I'd assume this is the same but just in the nose.

Sounds pretty interesting.  A new pow board just got onto my radar.  I wonder what sizes it will come in?
