What's the weight of Angry??? 😕

195lbs which puts him on the lower(ish) end of the 163 but still not outside its limits.

i'm 190 & the 163 is way easy to sling, even in tight trees.

Who has experience on the x bases?  The highback on my diodes broke in half a while ago and I haven't been able to get back out since the injury.  Can't decide if I want Gen X or X Base to replace em, and just looking to see the similarities/differences.

Tried the Dump Truck 154 and Stun Gun 155 this weekend.

Both are pretty similar. But DT is more aggressive.... the SG ride is similar, just softer and a bit more playful.

Even at 154 the Dump Truck was plenty of board for me at 170 lbs (the 158 wasn't available when I tried). I would still get a 158 because i'm on US11 boots, plus would rather have the extra meat from the 158, but either would work. Not a plank at all! maybe 7/10 flex (I guess the 158 would bump it up a little). But yeah that 154 is a tiny little rocket.

Stun Gun was really fun. I haven't seen much specs on the SG, but I would probably go with the next size up though (I think 158). Playful, and really fun on the groomers. Great edge hold, not as much as on the DT but super fun to slash and play around. SG is maybe 6/10 flex. Really nice, stiff enough but playful flex.

With the other boards I have, the Dump Truck is kind of pointless; but the SG is definitely interesting....... if I find a 158 DT at like 40% off I'd think about it. If not, I'd wait it out and grab a SG next season at 20% off or so.

I almost tried the Bottom Feeder but I was a bit tied up with time, so didn't deal with the extra switching. Looks and feels a lot like a Panhandler xFish. But I kind of prefer the extra tail in the PH.

Thanks for reporting your impressions.

Is Stun Gun softer on tip and tails and torsionally stiff? Or just a consist stiffness throughout the board? Would its tail feels a bit too short compared with DT?

Nah pretty similar flex pattern just different stiffness overall. I'd guess DT has Triax glass and the SG has Biax. Both have carbon because they are both poppy.

The length of the tail (as in setback) is very similar but the DT stays more tracked on the edge where the SG would start skidding earlier. Maybe DT has a bit more effective edge, or maybe you can drive the edge harder because it's stiffer....

The SG is not soft like the Process. It just doesn't feel as firm as most Family tree boards. The DT is about the same stiffness as the Landlord, just a bit more damp. Going through chop, you feel more bounced on the LL.

Jumping on to either took zero getting used to it after riding the Landlord. Both boards felt familiar right away. Slightly different, but familiar.

I haven't been on a Burton board since my 1999 Burton Canyon with Burton Custom bindings (and Peter Line 32 boots). I picked up a Deep thinker with Cartels and was shocked at how smooth ollies and presses feel with the hinge. I read on here or the other site the Deep thinker was stiff and wanted to go straight. I found it to be a little above medium flex 7/10 (163 wide), really quick and tight turning, great in tight trenched out trees. Really snappy tail and softer nose. I only have 7 days on this setup so the verdict is still out. I like the board but since this is really my first real tapered directional board. I am still working out the kinks riding switch. Good job Borton.

From the comments or from Donna because from the picture and the caption it seems that she is full of hate for the President.

Why would she not be full of hate for Drumpf? (#MakeDonaldDrumpfAgain)

Donna Carpenter is a woman in a leadership position whose business and lifestyle are potentially threatened by climate change. She and Jake have been fairly vocal champions for gender equality, environmental causes, youth development, and a number of other liberal progressive issues. The Donald is opposed to most of what they publicly stand for. Is this news to any of us?
