Agree.

I'm ~175 lbs US10.5 boots. Riding 155. Could see myself riding the 158 for more all mtn or higher speed riding, but 155 is super fun in trees, easy to whip and pop around and floats really really well.

Most of my boards are ~158-159 so yeah, size down a little on the SG but not exactly a short fat...

sweet, thanks for the comments! Will find out one way or another if this will work next season. 😀 I'd be happy if my 150 turned out to be a tree slasher.

Honestly I feel, as a customer, life time warranty, which covers only manufacturing defects, should not be one of reasons that makes me more willing to pay.

Maybe that's just me being cheap lol.

I buy arcteryx and patagonia at a premium(even with at least 30% off) expecting the product to work and not fail, because I simply don't want to deal with that in the backcountry or while climbing multipitch. Almost everything has been solid, but when something goes wrong both companies have fixed or simply replaced items with hardly a question asked. Patagucci replaced a down sweater that was like 6 years old when i brought it in just to ask if they had a product they recommend other than nikwax down wash because I feathers were clumping. My resort jacket/pants are currently oakley's because we have an outlet nearby that clears things out in the spring for mad cheap but I consider those items consumables. If a zipper fails or a seam breaks NBD if I'm on a lift.

totally agree, the higher end jackets/pants  are usually made from 3L goretex; Designed and made for backcountry riding..so it's lighter, more packable, and durable. Hence the expensive price tag. If you're resort riding, 2L goretex is totally fine and priced reasonably

yeah theres no reason to spend the kind of money companies/brands want for 3 layer stuff. you simply don't need it, ever.

I know this isn't the bathroom thread but I have this year's Tusk jacket in Forest Green.  I'd consider selling it if someone is interested.  It's an awesome piece but I just have too much outerwear (said no one ever on EL).  It's a Large and pretty much like new.

No such thing.

Hammock 2.0 (the firmer and more minimalist version, also does not have the double take buckles) is what's on the Cartel.

Gen/GenX have the standard Hammock straps with DT buckles.
