Anyone know where I can still find Mine 77 White (gas station dirty print)Bibs in size XL? Been looking around in ebay and other sites, seems to be completely sold out.

Try calling the flagships in VT and NYC. I don't think they make much of the line and it doesn't get distributed very widely.

Here's the part # for the mythical front to back micro adjustment disc in case you get someone clueless at rider services... I got mine in 2 days with one email.

@bfbf Does the hinge run top to bottom in your pic? If so, then the slots appear to be for toe/heel adjustment (i.e. standard 4x4 Channel discs), not tip-to-tail stance width adjustment.

burton disks

left: standard 4x4 Channel hinge disc with toe/heel adjustment

right: 4x4 Channel hinge disc with tip/tail adjustment

Fwiw, this was the part # on mine (they could've changed the part # since then):

Yeah, the one in his picture is definitely just the regular heel/toe, not the tip to tail adjustment

Guess that's why it only took 2 days and 1 email.  🤣

Lol. I didn’t even open it - I just put it in my binding box in storage  as I’m done riding for the year.  I sent your pic over to rider services

many thanks ❄️❄️❄️

Just snagged a new 158w custom for $290. Had been checking them out on the hill this season... They look beautiful in person this year. Going to go back to my roots on the board that I learned on.   Should be a nice compliment to the two Gentems I have.

I rode both the same day, and I have the Custom in a 156 the last year before they changed the shape. For me the Custom feels like a very standard all-mountain board. Sidecut is neither super-tight nor super-shallow, flex is medium. I think the new shape is slightly less catchy than the old shape (not that I find camber catchy).

Custom X I enjoyed a lot more. Bear in mind shape and all dimensions are exactly the same between the two in each length. I found Custom X a lot more fun. So fast, so snappy, will plough through anything. I'd forgotten what it feels like to have a board that you can't go too fast on. You can straight-line it, get to the point where another board would become unstable, and this just doesn't.

TL;DR - Custom perfectly good board, very average. Not a bad board but nothing to rave about. CustomX some of the most fun I've had. Stiff and powerful but in a relatively un-catchy shape.

Cool thanks.  Custom x still stiffer than a flight attendant?

From what I remember of Flight Attendant I would say yes CustomX much stiffer. FA to me was similar to a Custom in stiffness or maybe a hair stiffer. CustomX is one of the stiffest things I've ridden for a while.

I should add the X was so much more fun than the regular Custom. Custom is a good board but the X is just so much more exciting, more lively, more stable. Really shows the difference that stiffness and construction can make to the exact same shape in the same length.

@bfbf Nice, they found and resent you the right ones! 👍

You should update this thread if there's now a new part # for those:

Looks like Name Dropper, Free and Deep Thinkers are made at SWS now. Not a big deal but different from the past.
