That guy's heelside turns. Looks like he's recovering from an injury the way he's riding.

I know right? Not saying I'm the best rider in the world but in so many review videos the rider needs to work on their technique. A bit like Guf from The House, this guy is too static. He needs to move more, bend his legs more etc. It looks like he can carve a turn on his toes but he slides more on his heels.

Hah no, he's one of the best riders I've seen in review videos and I like his personality. I just think he's a bit stiff when he rides.

theres definitely some hesitancy on that heelside edge, i wouldnt be surprised if something was bugging his foot or something. sometimes a couple toe mashes on a hard riding day get me pretty mellow on the heelside edge.

hes got it right though, the HTH is will fucking rail like a crazy aggro mtn board but with 100 times more mellowness in other situations if that makes sense. which it doesn't.

He looks like a good rider who is kind of afraid of really being on edge.

Yeah, I think I've seen him bust some freestyle moves in other vids. Not unheard of, lot of good technical riders I know who are not comfortable riding on edge, mostly due to spending 95% of their time in the park doing speed checks on detuned boards.

Ya, from all the vids I've seen from them he looked like the best rider out of their staff. At least on the freestyle side.

But more importantly, def looking to get those highbacks next szn.

I have heard that Burton has an edge in warranty servicing with their W48 Riders' Services program. My experience with making a claim on a pair of boots last season was okay, but it didn't quite live up to their stated timelines. After receiving my RMA number and shipping my boots to them using overnight express shipping (at my expense), it took them a little more than a week and several email prompts from me to process my claim, and another week and a half to ship my boots to me, which they did by UPS ground. All told, it was about three weeks that I was without my boots. I was glad that I was able to get them replaced, but I had hoped for faster service.

weird. i had a quick lace tube/channel pull out of the boot once. took them to evo, they sent them to burton, and eventually received a store credit for the original purchase price of the boots (bought them on sale from evo). i don't remember how long the entire process took cause it was like 6-7 years ago, but i think it was about a week and a half. ground shipping to VT, then someone to look at them, and issue the credit to evo. i was smart about it and took the liners out when i took them in, and they got sent to B that way no questions asked, so i ended up with an extra set which i used in a pair of 32s cause their older liners sucked.

the mountain logo vita backs? why? it's just paint that'll get scuffed or be covered by your pants. save your money and just have @spenser make you a few die cuts instead. that way when one inevitably gets fucked up, you can replace it with fresh one. no point in spending $80 for a cosmetic change on the most cosmetically vulnerable part of a binding (aside from the heel cup).
