So Austin is in Juneau and riding Eaglecrest today.. pretty fun bouncy pow day. Glad I rode the squash, hah. Talked to him for a little bit. Not sure what they’re doing, but a small camera crew is following.

edit: They are with Alaska Heliskiing. This is fairly common... the pros will get to Haines and take the ferry to Juneau before they get after it up north.

Hes on the suprateam, and Jerm is on the fusion 59.

I’m guessing he didn’t bring the fire truck on the ferry? could have asked to try the Banker if he had the full Quiver with him.

Yeah, that would’ve been rad. The truck stayed in Haines, and they popped over on the ferry in a couple vans with the heli guys. Especially after what he must have paid for gas to drive up here, a round-trip ferry ticket with a vehicle of that length is definitely not cheap.

On that note, I was kind of surprised not to see him on a quiver board

What a rad looking split. I might have to get myself the 163 solid…

this was a good decision.

Looks like he's selling the box off the back of the firetruck after heli season in Haines?  Would be pretty damn rad to snag it, but it's not useful to me.  My cargo trailer is about 2 sizes smaller (his is probably 8x16 while mine is 6x12), and I like it on wheels. Great deal, though.

Also..... killer spring day on the Squash, haha.  We went from riding powzer to 50F... rained a bunch, two days of sun, and back to rain on wednesday.  Lots of rain.  Enough to kill the snowpack.  Looks like chairlift season might be coming to an abrupt end. I started my boat today, so........

Not that the 59 isn’t sufficient, but man I wish the 2018 came in a 163. Really just want the black base🤓

anyway
