I'll take mildly favored. Of course the 2 seasons after leaving the NW have been epic or will be epic according to the forecast.

There was last year, unfortunately I missed it all. My appendix decided it was time to stop working at the beginning of December last year.

Buffalo, so right in the middle of where they think NY will get hit.

A lot of snow in that area would make it worth it for me to drive to Seven Springs too.

2015 was a horrid season.  pretty much just forgot about snowboarding and went on hikes with my dogs.

2016 was mild overall.. strong start, medium throughout with real thin coverage at the bottom, early finish... late blast of snow for a GREAT ender weekend about three weeks after the main closing.  I had a great time.. only a couple days with truly poor conditions.  everyone else (who didn't even go) still complains, but they don't know what each day was like.

hoping the move toward la nina comes through.  even a "normal" winter would be off the charts.  sounds like Ross (rossco) is going to be here for the winter.  and I am no longer going to be in Bend.  so........ fingers crossed.   a medium/decent year at Eaglecrest is quite literally what I live for.

likely will make a snowboard trip or two to Bend
