picked up a Cross/Gravel bike (Fuji Jari) a few weeks back, still love fixies/singles, I just don't live in a good spot for the, and don't want something just for the trails.

made an instagram for it, partly to get me to go on rides, partly to give me an excuse to take a breather in the middle of them for the photo op

First bike ride of the season earlier this week. Ouch. Need to get back in shape and remember how to ride good. Apparently I've blown the rear shock on my Lynskey cross / all-mtn 140

Crap. Bikes are so expensive, that's a new board on sale / discount. Could have added a park deck.

Keeping my fingers crossed I don't need much on my freeride and dh rigs!

Anyone here ride Duthie often?

I wouldn't say often, but I ride Duthie sometimes. I'm absolutely awful at mountain biking though.

^ you ride Duthie sometimes = good enough for me. Ping me next time you're going, I'll try to meet up and we can have beers after. I am also open to riding other places, just Duthie is closest

Been getting out on the mountain bike at least a couple times a week ever since my shoulder was more or less healed in early Feb.  It has kind of taken over my recreational life lately.  So much great riding so close to me.  Took me a couple swings and misses to find the right bike, but landed on a Guerrilla Gravity The Smash that I fucking love.

OK, I guess I was too quick to say the blown rear shock will cost me a deck. Apparently, it will cost me several decks 🙁

Bike shop (owned by a friend) couldn't remove the rear shock from the Ti frame. So had to take apart and send frame to Lynskey in Tennessee for them to do; otherwise he was in danger of cracking the frame. Almost 2 months so far without the bike, lucky that I have another bike to ride.
