yeah, i'm not really one to fanboy over anyone "famous," pro athletes, movie/tv stars, etc. i just figured i have this board which i think is rad (avatar pic), and the rider for whom it was made will be local and accessible, so wtf, why not? it's a wall hanger, but technically in a box with a few others right now. some day i'll bring it out and post a pic.

when i was telling Jess that i bought it as a wall hanger cause the cat looks like my cat, and i also have a party shark and a peter line as wall hangers, she told me i shoulda brought the peter line too cause he was also there that night. 😣Β

Argh, feeling the doldrums pretty bad right now.Β  I'm 9 weeks post op from rotator cuff surgery, and was hoping to be on snow and back on a mountain bike by early January.Β  Had a follow up with the ortho today, and he said at least February, if not March.Β  March was his strong recommendation.Β  I take doctor timelines with a grain of salt, but even though he said my recovery is going perfectly, his tone was different today than it has been, and he was much more ominous about the likelihood and repercussions of re-injury.Β  I'm sure I'll end up riding by February, but either way that appointment was such a buzzkill.

I just saw my ortho this morning for my 6 month post-op on my knee. He says I’m good to go when I feel like I’m good to go, problem is, I’m not sure when that will be. Swelling keeps flaring up big time after heavy workouts, enough so that it shuts down my quad, so, yeah, I’ve got a ways to go. Β Maybe 6 weeks out, maybe more.Β

You fucked with squirrels Morty

@buggravyΒ @pow_hnd

Bummed for you both

If it makes you feel a bit better I can keep you updated on our consistently snowless conditions here. Predictions for above freezing 8 of the next 10 days. Not a chance of snow that I can find within a 8 hour drive radius. We had green grass on the ground last Feb.Β Β

Fingers crossed it changes for you guys and myself.

"Alaskans have picked themselves up and moved on with what looks to be barely a stumble, and it all happened in a week. To give some context for why this is amazing, I lived near Atlanta when a couple inches of snow brought the city to a screeching halt for days in 2013."

The only thing I'd add is fuck Anchorage.Β  Right outside Anchorage, all good.
