I know everybody's been eyeing things up already, what's on your list for next season?
told myself I'd be pretty content going forward, but the new Kazu is calling my name. 160 with the yellow Falcors, or maybe an Endeavor Pioneer 158 with the black marble.
I'm ready to trade out my Venture Split for an Optisplitstic anytime I find one for sale.
I'm considering potentially another pow surfer. Though, nothing in mind.
Hanger 3's caught my attention. Not fomoing though.
More days riding.
Already have the 162 Storm Wolf. Would like the chance to try a Pioneer 157 tho and a YES Y, since I’ve love my optimistic and it remains in the quiver season after season. Need to replace my 160 Kazu with a new Kazu as well as my Amplid UNW8 with a new UNW8. Keeping the Dart since it’s still in good shape. Need a new twin so I’m eyeing the Capita indoor survival since it’ll be wider in 2022 with similar camber as the outsiders. Other then that probably not changing much but it’s a long time until nxt season so ....

Going to pick up a set of Jone Mercury bindings next year. Hanger 3.0 looks dope, and that binding has struck me as "the one" since it came out a couple seasons ago.
I'm still on the hunt for my dream daily driver. Directional, camber dominant, 7 or 8/10 flex, equivalent to 163-164-ish effective edge, 260-265 mm waist width, 8+ m sidecut. I'm currently splitting most days between the United Shapes Orbit 157 and the Korua Cafe Racer 164. Both are mega fun, but the Orbit is a little too aggressive for all-day weekend warrior riding for me (my legs usually peter out around 1-2) and the Cafe Racer a little too relaxed (plus it's wide AF, not great for firmer days).
Couple possibilities that've popped up:
- Weston 10th Mountain Division 162
- Korua Stealth 163
- K2 Alchemist 163 or Instrument 164W
- Stranda Shorty 163
Plus might need to be on the lookout for my next boots. I had a pair of Adidas Tactical Advs as an "emergency" fund when my current Tactical Lexicons died, but the Lexicons unexpectedly had some defects pop up after 40 days. I wasn't expecting to have to think about this for another 2-3 seasons, so that was an unpleasant surprise. I'm hoping I can get my warranty gift certificate quickly enough that I can replenish the emergency fund before Adidas' stock sells through and they're out forever, but I'm not banking on it.

Shorty might be the one, esp from that list. Lots of EE and sidecut is Stranda's MO.
And lol yeah, the little tweaks to the Jones Merc next year has me kinda wishing I waited for the new one instead 😅.

Sidecut looks a little open for a daily driver, but that shape looks fun as hell. If they made a Pluv 163 or 164, that might be the ticket.
Kind of split between a DOA or a Mercury. Might be the season I actually follow through on buying something directional.
If I can get into a shop and try boots on, likely some new boots.
FT Daily Driver 3D 155. I have the just released 159, loving it, but want to size down.
Clout 158. Could do better maybe getting a closeout from this year tho.
The Powder Pill 158 looks nice too.
