Pumped to try this. Though, they weren't kidding about the "low camber". Looks flat, almost 😅.

I think I’m going to ride both this Saturday in shit conditions, the WS nose looks rad for blasting through chop.

Moon Buggy has landed.. It’s got a decent bit of directional camber!

Awesome! Look forward to hearing your feedback. That one is high on the list for this season...

Initial thoughts from first 2 days on the B.Hot so far:

1st day felt so off, like I was set too forward in my stance. Turning felt very awkward, esp when disengaging the tail end. Felt super twitchy; as if I had way more tail than nose. Figured I wasn't centred on sidecut, despite using the inserts I normally use on most boards. Thanks to @F1EA and Dupraz on IG, confirmed the inserts are set 10mm forward on sidecut 🤦🏻‍♂️.

Once I moved the bindings back to offset the set forward, feeling was night and day. Had an amazing time on this board once centred on sidecut. Absolutely rips groomers, super stable at higher speeds and has such solid edge hold when railing turns. Construction feels really well built, similar to Korua's imo. Flex is at my personal sweet spot, at ~7 stiffness. Nose is a touch softer (~6.5ish), but not by much. Torsionally felt about the same. Had lots of fun riding it thru the park and on sidehits, very sturdy on landings. Swing weight feels normal, no complaints there either.

If I could add/change one thing, I'd add more camber personally given the conditions I ride mainly. But as @F1EA & @awd1105 reminded me of Dupraz's pow focus, a mellow camber makes sense. Anyhow this board had 5mm+ camber, would prob be my fave board all time ... not that it's far off as is, already. Instantly jumped to my DD slot, so much fun. Can't wait to bring it to Japan and test it in deeper stuff. Excited to get back on it, in general.

But ya, highly recommend trying one if any of the above appeals to you. Thankful I stuck with it, shouts to @elektropow for the nudge 😅.

Same factory! Nobile in Poland.

(At least until now. Someone said Korua moved for this season, but dunno whereto…)

I'm really keen on these boards. I think I have a spot for something like this in my line up. Good call on keeping it!

@gd

so just to clarify: the B.Hot edged out the TF+ as a DD for you? I'm curious because the nose shape, and even the tail, are somewhat similar but the Hot has less effective edge, width, taper and sidecut, and I thought the TF+ has *better* materials & construction. Not to mention that I can get a discount on Dupraz but was thinking more about the "traditional" ones 🙂
