snowcountry.eu has one at 40% off.  Evo's got a 158 in stock.

I dunno what they did with the flex pattern but it's dialed and damp given it being soft.  I generally run pretty stiff free ride boards.  To what @coleslawed said, there is a bit more stiffness in the tail but overall it's a "soft" free ride deck that has a shit ton of freeride and freestyle personality which I found immensely fun.  I had a demo day last season and tried a crap ton of boards and this is the one that stood out for me.  The only thing I haven't ridden on is a decent amount of pow, which this is built for and it's got an extra set of inserts for deep days.  I've got it at reference, but if it's a non-pow day that I just want to fuck around, I may move my bindings up for a more centered stance.

For the next Japan trip, this thing is coming with.  Leaving the Landlord at home.

Wolle's work with the Aesmo stuff is bleeding into the Salomon collab lineup and it's awesome.  Really want to try the other ones, but my bank account suffered enough this past off season.  Other than coleslawed and myself (and maybe someone who had the Aesmo collab), there hasn't been many EL'ers on these.  Under the radar, but I'd tell everyone to try them if you can.  If you find a deal on them, pick it up.

Cool, thanks.

I keep reading conflicting info on the flex pattern. I expect soft, but I was intrigued by the thought of a slightly stiffer nose to bust through tracked snow, but either way sounds like a dope deck and can't wait to try it.

The Äsmo 157 is a possible next purchase,  but I'll have to try it first.

Valuable feedback. Cheers guys. Me being 140lbs ish, I think the 158 would provide just the right amount of meat. Also like that it isn't shit wide, like past 270 as many similar decks. Specs seem gooooood.

I liked the HPS Taka when I rode it but I slightly preferred the Lib Tech Mayhem Rocket that I own (I rode them back to back). The Taka is really nice but totally cockblocked from my quiver by the Lib. I'm going to sell the Lib though so maybe one day...

lol that's the biggest reason I don't have a  Wolle 157. It would be a gridlock of cockblock.

Quivers are a dangerous first world problem. Sometimes I just wanna get rid of everything but squash, hammerhead, and goldfish. But..........

The fishes are a given, of course. But, I’ve been feeling the cockblocking too - mainly because I love the squash so much. We'll see how the orbit affects things..

I would be right there with you, but all my non-riders were stolen in Feb. Thank God for insurance.

My collection is more worth for me than the riding quiver. Especially my Custom 159 -97 in four different colorway and a signed for me first year Johan. Other boards are just things that can be replaced.

Same. I had some decently valuable decks, but a lot that had sentimental value I doubt I will be able to replace them. The decks I am most sour about are my 10th year BSOD, my '11 Mid Life and my Knowbuddy. I also had some other Capita decks from the late 00's that I was also hoping to hang one day.
