Nice.  Looks way better than the reg Kink too.  I used to get the limited DH boards years ago, way better graphics than the stock.

How are the new Kink boards?  I remember the ones I rode years ago were complete noodles.

From a hand flex, it feels that the tips would be easy to load up but once you get close to the inserts and through the middle it stiffens up a bit.  Will report back once I get to ride it

Added a couple of ponies to the stable

Why'd you buy two of the same board. tehh... jk. kinda.

Please update us with a comparison when you've gotten to know each. Both fit what I'd consider close to a quiver of 1 board for me.

I'm not sure about that. The Dancehaul is pretty soft and centered. I think it will be super fun, but not nearly as versatile as the Orca. I've been riding Orcas for past 2 seasons and it's the closest quiver of one board I've had.

I just meant specs seem closeish and the shape. But... I didn't need to hear the Orca lives up to hype. I don't want to want one. But I want one.

This is my 4th Orca, so you can say I'm a bit of a fan. That said, I'm living in Japan and I've only seen like 3 other Orcas. I hear back in the states every halfwit neckbeard with a Ruroc who only knows snowboarding because of Travis Rice is riding an Orca. Oof, I'm not sure I could ride one there.

When I had my first year 159 for minute I rode it at Jackson I felt like such a fuckin tool and was embarrassed there were sooooooooooo many fanboys rocking orcas. I was rocking my sandbox helmet though I'll never rock a Ruroc.

Speaking of Ride up above, I feel the same way about their Pig series. I'm curious to try them but feel like they're hyped by the SBF/Reddit crowd. Though maybe it's in my imagination, because I don't really keep up with stuff like this these days anymore.

No clue. But cool to see Jed Anderson riding it and doing the art for it. I was always a fan of the Salomonder.

I did that thing that makes a new board arrive.  Stiffer and more camber than expected.  Pumped to give this as a go to replace the Super8 quiver spot.

Also, cleaned out storage and found some of the OG good getagrips so will franken up my Atlases with those and probably order some Strata ankle straps to try.  I'm back in the game baby.

I hope you get a chance to fondle some new Atlas, they really seem like a step above the previous gens.

always had a soft spot for Syndicate decks ever since a lot of the Rome Great Lakes Insurgents (or what ever their am crew around here was called) had them locally in the parks.  Got my hands on this Ravine..it actually feels a tiny bit stiffer than the ones I had previous, excited to ride this one.

I'm torn on trying out the new Atlas on the Banker, or just sticking with my trusty Strata.

I went with Forces because the matched the board.

@soymateo Noice brah, love my 2019. Only pull it out when we get a dump though (163w). Came across a used 2020 Free Thinker for a decent price in my size and scooped it for an early season/rock board.  Hoping it rides similarly enough for the few early season days I got it for.

@fiddle, I considered the 60w DT but ultimately I have that vibe filled by other boards so went with the sweet spot/slightly shorter vibe for trees and do-it-all resort riding.  I tend to like 59-60s but the 57 Super8 was too much fun in pow so figured I'd do a straight swap for size on the DT.  I like the longer EE, longer camber section, slightly more setback (10mm) and stiffer hand flex of the DT.  Otherwise specs are super similar to the S8 57.  I'm thinking the DT will bridge the gap between the 57 Super8 and Will 58.
