Have just one weird pressure point on top of my right foot, close to the ankle on the medial side, but nothing at all on my left. So likely due to the shape of my foot specifically, not the boot itself.

I had a pressure point on the medial side above my ankle with the (older) Infuse as well. Turned out that the tongue of the liner was overlapping with the rest of the liner material at that point specifically which created additional pressue especially when flexing forward. I cut out a part of the tongue and that fixed the problem, so might be worth checking if something similar is happening in your case.

Wow, exactly what I feel. Thanks for the insight, really helpful and will def look into it. If willing/still have them, would love to see where you did the trim on the tongue? Once that's sorted, they'll be a perf fit. But yeah, thanks again.

@gd how's the sizing on the Infuse? Feel true to size compared to either previous boots or street shoes?

Yeah, I'd say so. Fits pretty perfect, from a toes perspective. Snug just right, no toe curling.

@gd sure, here you go:

Infuse 1

From the front:

Infuse 2

And the lateral side for comparison:

Infuse 3

Also, I got some new new last week. Camber measures to a good 8mm and early rise is quite minimal. That thing is stiff, especially in the tail. Might be something for @parker to get on:

Alchemist 1

Alchemist 2

Alchemist 3

Perfect, thanks @picasso. Will mimic that same thing if the pain is persistent while riding in them.

And ditto, dope new ride. Love how much camber it has. If it was only a tad wider, would def be on my radar more.

Tbh, the only Vans shoes I've ever owned were the slip on ones. And I usually wear half a size up for casual footwear. Maybe @Picasso can chime in, or any other Vans peeps on here?

So I actually have the Infuse in the same size as my Old Skools, EU 40 (25.5 mondo). Toes were def touching the liner of the Infuses before breaking in, now they are really comfy. Old Skools are not that snug obviously 😄 but I‘d say both fit pretty optimally.

I also got Ave Pros in the same size a couple weeks ago and I def should have sized up half a size on those.

There’s still no real correlation between shoes & boots.. boots need to fit your actual foot, so more true to physical foot size, while shoes are almost always a bit bigger because they’re not meant to be fully form fitting. My foot is 26.7, so between 8.5 and 9, but I’m never less than a 9.5 shoe, sometimes 10, and I like them on the fitted side.

In my years of boot fitting and selling tons of shoes, the customer’s worn shoe size was almost always a size larger than their foot measured, and frequently 1.5-2 larger. Even for me wearing more snug shoes, size 8.5-9 boot and 9.5-10 shoe, regardless of brand. The end point is although you might be able to guess based on shoes, you still need to fit boots properly..

I want them to work for me, but I’ve only been able to try on the infuse, which wasn’t right for me.. agreed, their boots look good

@crustacean I will say this. My feet measure to almost 26 (left) and 25.5 (right) mondopoint and the 25.5 Infuse is a perfect fit. So I would push you to get your mondo size and go with that if you want to try them.

Edit: Meanwhile, 25.5 mondo Nitro boots are cramming my left foot and 25.5 K2 Maysis were too large, but Vans seems to match quite well.
