Hey man, has Juneau been getting this latest storm cycle that's hitting the White and Haines Passes or is it raining down there?

Been snowing today at sea level, kind of hovering between wet snow and rain this week, but the current forecast still looks promising. We are getting it much better just a little higher up of course, but not stacking up very fast currently. We are just hitting the point where I’m considering using my split, which is not for sharky conditions...

Loving this picture of the Supernaut taken by the creator of the graphic, Boris Firquet.

It feels unrealistic to get rid of any of them, but rest assured, if I ever do, I’m going to be picky about who it goes to. Might even write up a contract

(PS, I’d be happy to sell to you)

On that note… sounds dorky but who cares… getting to purchase one of these boards feels special in a way that the majority don’t. I mean... as much as I love the squash, it’s just a nitro and I can get another. These are special. There are a good amount of small, local brands (I guess every brand is local to somewhere, but you know what I mean) making amazing boards, and I imagine anyone who connects with the brand and the people behind it would feel the same when they get to purchase one. Whether it’s the IPP, trapper, elevated, asmo, shark, and even Korua, gentem, Moss, and all the other “cool” niche brands we talk about here… it feels goooood, maaaan. It also helps when they are just damn good boards 😬

just don’t buy a Gilson and you’re okay

For real though, it’s going to fuck my world up if I don’t like the hammerhead

21.5” with the back foot on the front pack (basically one pack forward of reference). I recall @Lonz rides his as far forward as possible & recently drilled for more holes. I can go 1/4” forward on the rear with the disk, and I usually ride closer to 22” so front would move forward too. Will see how she feels, hopefully soon.

This thing needs some big, long runs in Haines.

Yeah dude, that would be a dream board for sled laps on the Nadahinni Glacier.

I did tee bolt my old 181 to choke up on it, but I just run my 171 slammed forward.  You're going to dig it.  I took mine out for it's first ride on Sunday after riding a new board for the first four resort days of this season, and I was really amped to get back on it.  Such a ripper.

Ah, I didn’t realize you also had the 71.

Our local sled spot has some good runs for it, but it would be a bitch riding out the icy, deep-rutted sled track...

@spenser if your disks are 4X4 (and not 4x2), you should be getting a 22" stance when using the most forward inserts on both packs, with a 3cm setback on the effective edge.

Correct, that would be my 22” stance placement.  Currently front foot is using the ”original” front pack (before you added 2 more holes) which is 21 1/4”? I used the disk to move that forward, which is how I got 21.5”

Exact!!! I thought you were using 21.5" because you thought you couldn't get your usual 22"... 🙂
