Man. The Nexus 158 specs are perfect for me, but I'm 95% sure the deck would be too soft for my liking. Bummer, I'd love to have a deck with those specs.
The only thing I don't like about the boards is the color block on the board reminds me of Tommy Hillfiger I'm hoping Austin will be demoing them at Bachelor like he did with the quiver series. I saw his truck parked about a mile from my house most the summer I really want to be his friend haha. I saw him outside one day when I was riding by on our cargo bike with the kiddos on the back I so wanted to stop and say hey but then thought about how creepy and weird that would be. I give him props though his driveway is probably like 1 / 20 houses in bend with a BLM sign. Most people here are too rich and privileged to care and most I've heard about BLM here were people bitching about the little graffiti that small protests left behind.
Was talking with Austin about the snow on bachelor sunday on IG and then we ended up talking about my drifts and about his new boards sounds like I'm probably going to let Austin borrow my drifts and he's gonna let me demo a new board... I'm one step closer to becoming his friend haha.
I haven't been paying attention, but @parker you ended up in Bend, what part of town? I think I'm heading over this weekend to grab the teardrop trailer my kid & his girlfriend bought to live in our backyard. Unfortunately with our current COVID fuck show we're going to stop by my wife's best friend's house to drop some beer off on their door step and wave at their new puppy from across the street.

Their site has a banner that says they're giving away boards/skis weekly until the solstice. Been there for a month. So far I've seen no announcements of winners… 🙁
Of all the boards I’ve owned, I’d have to say the ones that seem “best” all around have come from GP87, Playmaker, and wherever K2 is/was made (was that Shakespeare?) So go figure, despite what a lot of people love to say, all China. Honorable mention to the factory in Quebec that Fullbag uses.

@highme I'm in NW bend about 1/2 mile from shevlin park we're loving it so much better than denver I hated that place so much. We are potentially looking to buy property in sun river and build out there potentially since its much cheaper and much more foresty.
