So uh… Limited 160 (the white one with the tricolor fish logo) or Goldfish 160?

If I had to get just one…

Pretty sure it's ltd 160 if it's 2009, but haven't tried.

I forget when they stopped tagging it LTD, but it was effectively the same build between 10-13 other than exact profile. 09 was the only year they had separate s-rocker models outside of fishcuit, and that original LTD was a little more $ and slightly different.

2010 didn’t have the fuller-camber yet, while the 2012 goldfish does. IMO if you like camber but also a little early rise (as opposed to “rockered nose”), 12 & 13 are the primo years. I prefer 12 for plain base. Riiiiiipping boards.

Here is a picture showing the difference between the camber profiles of 2009 LTD and 2013 fish.

09 LTD vs 12 goldfish

09 transitions under front foot and has mild camber, ‘12 transitions right between front foot and front contact & has medium camber. The ride between the two is pretty different in regard to camber feel, carving, etc. One is more “surfy” ie looser, but cuts like a knife, other is locked down & cuts like a more aggressive knife. Traditional camber fans will like the latter.

Stoked on this picture Jeremy took of our friend Gabe yesterday. Got the redfish via snerberd terder and wanted the 160 instead, sold it to him for cheap, ended up finding both 160s on accident... just keep swimming. He is relatively new to riding, but is a sick skater from FL; quick progression. Love that base shot.

Got my hands on a (relatively inexpensive)  factory 2nd 3d fish 161 and rode it for 4 days at Jackson hole and a day at Targhee. Beautiful in pow/ the trees and not too shabby on the few groomers we rode. Easy to make jump turns on the steeps. Pretty much what the description says is accurate. Too bad I wont get another chance to ride it for quite some time now.
