It sounds pretty good, honestly. I am very rarely interested by a B board these days.

Anyone have specs?

Solid, thanks @drjcv. CustomX construction, too ya? Looks like it's gonna be the Chuter, instead of the Banker for me next season 🤓.

edge? who cares. its got early rise and almost no tail kick.

sidecut, big for burton, probably 8.8 or something.

japanese blogs probably have a bunch of hysterical reviews on it.

I definitely wouldn't mind having a 155 with those specs. Seems like a really fun board from what we've seen so far.

You're not supposed to turn, that's why they have it at 258 w/ an 8.1

What about that is not supposed to turn?

And I guess I should’ve clarified… they made something over 8m in a model I am at least slightly interested in.

The fuck.  Does everyone in Vermont have small feet...  Guess no Chuter for me.

Hahaha funny to see people complaining about 258mm on a “normal” width board. Boards 10 years ago (hell probably more recently than that) were routinely sub-250, even in bigger sizes. I want to say the lynx 2008 Uninc 160 was 249 at the waist.

Straight Chuter is not my “dream board” from the quiver thread, but it’s in the neighborhood. It’s the first Burton that’s piqued my interest in years.

Uninc 160 was 252 but I believe they misprinted 249 (from the 58) somewhere at the time. At one point I had 10.5 ions on the 56, which was 246. I was way less carvy at the time, but I still remember booting out on that thing 12 years ago. I finally figured my boot size out at the end of the season...

I had the same thought, but even though I wear size 9, I still like it wider than boards from that era. 255 is about the lowest I would prefer to go these days. Liking stuff around 260 for the most part, pretty happy up to 265 and then it starts to drop off for me
