Definitely one size up on AK457. Tried some on a few years ago in Japan, definitely Japanese sizing. I don't think Burton makes XXXLs anywhere else.

gear loops on the jacket chest are a little impractical.

Hell no! Best thing ever. Clipping your gloves there vs laying them in the snow and getting snow inside them is super convenient. Use it quite a bit.

I definitely hadn't thought of that. I was imagining carabiners rattling around on my chest. I haven't had any issues with having to lay my gloves in the snow, as I either use a dakine vest or a backpack where I can stash 'em when I am doing my uphill/downhill changeovers - but you split a LOT more than I do. I didn't even use my split once last season...

Also on the chair lift. No having to sit on them, or forget them in the gondola.. Different strokes, but yea, I’ve found them super convenient

ended up grabbing the pants and jacket + analog vest. will probably never wear the castlerock kit together, either black jacket with castlerock pants and vice versa. stoked

Pumped on the new Cyclic "Faded Jade/Violet". Ended up switching to the S, tho cos this year's fit is a little baggier than last year's (size: M in pic). Really liked last year's fitted M, and this year's S fits just like it.

I'm about 5'9, hoping i'm not swimming in the medium top/pants. My medium velocity from last season fits great, hoping the banshey is similar

True, have the off-white(?) Velocity from 2 winters ago that you may remember, which was also M. If I was your height, would've maybe stuck w/ the M Cyclic.

And this may not be helpful, but Banshee fit looks on the longer side. And seems B loosened up their fits this year for a lot of their outerwear. But if you like that look & feel, should be fine, I guess.

I’m getting a deal on the Banshey stuff, not sure if I’ll be able to exchange..let’s hope the medium works out haha. I’m a regular-fit guy, always feel like I get bunched up with baggier stuff

Anyone ridden last years Slush Puppy?  I got the new 3D Kilroy, but after looking at the specs, its identical to the Slush Puppy.  I had last years 3D Kilroy, but this one looks like a completely different board.
