Oh shit I forgot the snowflakes....
did you ride it with tacticals and stratas/atlas?
I really need to get on the ez sticker game
Shoot me your address and what you want!
Just ordered a Korua Cafe Racer 64 straight from their website. Shipping from Euroland will supposedly only take 3-5 work days? Total cost, including shipping and without any discount or sale pricing, was only $531. That's $20 less than any shop in the US would have charged me if they had one in stock (nobody does) - and I would have had to pay another $50 in taxes at the WA sales tax rate. I would have possibly had to pay even more for shipping. Crazy.
Board has seemed like the right choice for me for a resort groomer board for a bit. 278 waist with good ol' camber. Looking forward to throwing some Forces on it and digging trenches at the local hill. Maybe I'll even like it in pow when I can convince myself to ride something other than the Moss!
I only have 2 days on my 64 pencil + so take this with a grain of salt. At reference points it felt.....well it felt like how their videos are. It liked to turn and rail carves.
On a recent powder day I moved the stance as far forward as possible. I liked it in pow and going faster. Laying down carves felt like I was drifting the rear around though.
Overall it has been a fun board

164 Cafe Racer of these popped up locally. Tempted to pull the trigger on it. Price is more than I'd typically pay for a used deck ($400) but these things so rarely pop up stateside. Specs look fun but fucker's wiiide for a dude with size 10 boots.

Do it! I am 5' 10" 170lbs with size 10 to 10.5 boot on my 64
Just missed a TF57 locally for 280ish but only had 5 days on it. Oh well its not like I need another board but have wanting to try the TF Classic. The Pencil 164 that I had which basically is the same board was a Plus that I sold to @peteri

Lol I got 40 lbs on you, so expect I'd be ok. How's it run in park and all-around? I was looking at selling the US Cadet for something with a bit more edge I could conceivably run as a daily driver.
(Really wish they made a Tranny Finder 160)

Just an FYI that the Cafe Racer 64 actually doesn't have the "all the measurements are the same" thing going on, like with other Koruas. It's actually almost a cm wider than the Pencil 64 is, with an additional 3 cm of effective edge. The Cafe Racer 59/Cafe Racer+ (only available in a 59) is actually the one with the same measurments as the Pencil/Pencil+ 64. The larger dimensions than other Koruas is one of the things that put the CR 64 on my list.

The CR64 has the same as Dart60 but there's also a Dart64.

Which is oddly narrower in the waist and tail than the Dart60/CR64. The Dart is cool. If I ever kill my Moss, I will probably replace it with a Dart64 or a Weston Japow69 if I can't get another Moss (apparently Moss is no longer importing the SW70 to North America)
What's going on here? Spotted this a day or two back. Korua gang pal Thomas Stoekli popped up in their feeds doing a crazy pow butter on this board. Around the same time there was an artsy slowmo closeup of the nose a white board with a black outline gliding through powder… and then this shot.
Looks like a café racer / trench digger with a bulldozer tail… or a bulldozer with a nose shaved down into a point.
maybe new shape? or just a distorted photo?
