So the 6' is really only a 5'10" (whereas the 5'5" is actually 5'5") so "only" 5" difference-- but ~13 cm is the difference between the board I'd normally ride as a 200 lb-er (163) and what I'd put my 120 lb wife on (150). Huge difference.

Aside to @Supra: I'm low-key irritrated than the 6' is only 5'10" lol. Tell Serge to give me a 183 cm board or just call that fucker a 5'10" lol.

If I forced myself to ride the 6' every day, I'm sure I'd be fine and could absolutely make it work. But I don't have to do that so I don't haha.

Damn this thing is nice. Super light. Next year's Escalator+ 157. The topsheet is really interesting. Feels a little odd (not in a bad way, just different) to have base material on both sides, but I'm pretty excited to see how snow sheds off and easy repairs. We just got 10" overnight and more is on the way tonight so the next couple days should be great for testing. I really love the all black stealth look.

Wanting to maybe put a white korua sticker but it probably won't stick too well, nor do I know where to find one

Apparently they’ve only got plans to use the channel on some of the Concept line, but it’d sure be interesting to use ESTs on my Pencil or Dart.

They're also making the transition finder split in a 150, not sure about the solid.

Pocket rocket 129 is quite the concept. Full rocker with a 330 waist 44mm taper

They talk about two sets of edges on the new TF split, but I don't know if they mean there's a fancy double edge on the inside, or just a translation of the joining side having metal edges. no mention of it in the explainer video, either.

Two extra edges on the inside

I dig the new transition finder split specs

Let's see if the new TF solid is going to get the same specs... like it should be... so, then I need 2 Korua, a Transition Finder and a Dart

I want to see the new specs on the TF54. I emailed and got a non reply so I guess it's wait and see.

That said I picked up this years TF54 and early impressions are quite good. Making it slightly less directional and embiggening the sidecut would make it just about perfect I think.

thought it was supposed to be less taper.  looks like they narrowed the nose and tail and equal amount and kept the sidecut the same (so slightly narrower waist).

edit new tf is actually the split stats just assuming they carry it over to both

Speak for yourself... I think it’s perfect just as is. It’s my daily driver. If I’m not on it I’m on the Otto 57.

I might be imagining it, but does the new TF have some adjustment on contact points? It seems further back on tail, but I see the EE has become shorter, and that could mean the nose has a smoother transition.

The width might be just that it's a split, and aslong as it doesn't get too narrow, using the same cores just 3 mm off from splitting isn't uncommon.

I hope there will be the solid 150, like the split, with that specs.

I can be super OK with just that board.

Those specs are perfect for me

Snow country has the new Transition Finder for preorder, they list the specs with the reduced taper.
