Well done Spenser. I'm the first to admit I could never write a review it would be complete dog shit. I cant tell the difference between many boards besides how aggressive it is and if it floats. I've owned some fancy ass boards from japan and me owning them was just a complete fucking waste I'm glad they all found good homes and most tended to stay in the homes I sent them off to. Not sure where I was going with that but glad some of you can feel the difference I'm just not that clued in.
Everything is relative, and everyone is unique. I’m a nerd about a select few things, and can [at least attempt to] articulate, whereas perhaps most other things I have no clue or sense of, or don’t care. It’s all just an opinion anyway. Also, I definitely think you have excellent taste in boards for sure. Part of the fun is simply different shit, haha
edit: just saw his squash-split review on the website, and I don’t experience any of his complaints at all 🤷♂️ no tail clicking, and despite being a nerd about this too, I haven’t thought about having a tail clip since the first time I used it. Short distance to the notch, plus Spark pucks. Honestly, I bet more of the gripes he had ultimately came from the bindings rather than board, though I certainly dig the brand.

And yet the gear whore-iest of gear whores still can't help himself. Is there a 12-step program for this? 🤣

Same author wrote a top 10 splitboard bindings of 2021 article and listed 2 Unions in the top 4, zero Karakorams in the top 10, and 2 hardboot setups. Let's just say I give your thoughts a touch more weight.

Formally known as the "gear whore-iest of gear whores" I currently only own asmo, DW fusion, squash, orbit, cadet, cadet and covert. I kinda want to try the season eqpt aero though I wanted to try the nexus but I just looked at the specs of the 2017 cadet and its basically the exact same numbers.
Actually I lied the fusion is 254ww but im not getting low on that board.
Thanks dudes!
Sooooo.. apparently he sent it to nitro and they were stoked. I think they’re sending me a board 😳
So rad I saw they posted the review a day or two ago. You and I should get a cut from all the nitro quiver sales we've got so many people on the squash train haha.
Whoa, cool, I don’t follow their facebook so missed that
Thanks dudes!

You get to request which one? If so = Banker?! Such a fun board, rips too. Strong possibility of adding a 59 soon 😅.
Hello Spensy this is your Canadian nephew DanDan, it's been a while since we have seen each other!
I went to tactics to try on new boots today and hand flexed some new nitros while I was there.
My observations of 2021 nitros flex
Fusion is much softer this year... I'd say 6/10... 2019 I'd say was 8/10
Banker is much softer this year... I'd say 6.5/10... 2020 I'd say was 8/10
Slash I'd say 5/10
Squash now this was a surprise it felt like the OG if the 163 is actually that stiff I may ditch my OG for one... I'd say 8/10
This is all based on my recent hand flexing within the last couple weeks of the hand flexing the OG squash, Hand flexing and riding the fusion yesterday, and hand flexing my banker before selling it a couple weeks ago.
If that’s true, dang. Weird. 19 fusion was a little stiffer than 18 quiver squash, etc
OG-stiff squash 63 is the dream, grey quiver like the 183 canon
Damn I was so looking forward to a 56 Banker, but I feared that they might soften it up for the 2nd year. They seem to do it with all new Quiver boards, so really weird that the Slash is such a noodle. But it was only a hand flex I guess.
Realistically I only need a Team in addition to my OG Squash 54 to cover all my needs. But ofc I want more boards and was looking at this year's Banker 56, OG Fusion 54 and Alchemist 57. Maybe I should grab that Fusion before it is gone 🤔

I mean go check them yourself don't take my word as absolute truth. Just surprised me my fusion is a beast but it is also the drinkwater preproduction.
