Code THANKYOUFRIENDS gets you $150 off a board on their site. If it works on sale items there are some $299 options

it’s more glossy irl than it looks online. should be fun though.

a very preliminary living room flex test shows some torsional flex, even with the extra width on the 159.

not a huge amount of camber, but enough.

Left the split at home and just took a slushy 60° F run at Eaglecrest down a favorite line. Orbit is the truth. Maybe felt a little stiffer than the squash all around. Fast and super stabile. Everything is so soft right now that there aren’t really any groomers left, so can’t say much on carving, but turning temperament definitely felt like a larger board with a more open radius in general. Definitely did not feel like a 57. Still so much snow pack left, so will probably do that again. Easily rideable into June. I think this may have been the latest I’ve ever ridden, actually… usually I get lazy after April

Also, I tried the hero8 in superview with low hypersmooth, normally wouldn’t because I like the feeling of normal stabilization and would prefer the slightly larger view (10% loss with low HS), but really liked the head cam footage I got. Will post a clip a bit later.

Nice, and yep totally agree. Well, that year/model specifically. As I mentioned before, that 57 Orbit gave me some of the best memories on hill that I can remember in the last little while. Currently still figuring out how I can possibly swap this year's 54 that I bought, for last year's 54 instead. As this year's model feels burlier than that one from last year, which felt perfect for me feel & flex wise.

But yeah, had a feeling you'd like this one. Maybe even more so than your beloved Squash? Or soon enough, at least haha.

Normally cut out me talking to myself (it’s not really conscious) but though it was kinda funny for this purpose. First day riding in a month..

Like I said earlier, I have it set on the holes behind reference, and I liked it, but can see shifting back (with the disks) a hair more for that sweet-spot feeling. It has a really strong tail.

This one still feels burly to me, right up my alley. If the new one is even more so, that sounds sweet, but I’m gonna keep ‘er 😜 plus, so much black

The answer is yes.

Also, my forehead is scorched.
