So I love my 2015 landlord. Just spent a week in Chamonix on it in every imaginable condition and it's great everywhere. I have had a few other decks since getting it (Swiss Knife, a DOA), but I just keep coming back to the LL. Like an idiot I never bought an extra while they were around, and now I can't find one. So what's most like it now, and also available? Thinking a nitro banker is top of the list at the moment. Mystery LL out of the question unfortunately.

I don’t think a banker is like it at all, other than directional

I bet you can find one on snowboard trader..

Or I bet one of the other family tree decks would be close

Same case here. Have tried many boards looking for a similar feel for when my LL bites the dust and... nothing.

the landlord is the true unicorn board. I rode a flight attendant for a day a year or two back, it was fun but didn't have that same zing the landlord has. the banker I thought could be a good alternative, similar waist, sidecut, bit of taper, likes to turn I'd guess, but I haven't ridden one.

Post an ISO on snowboard trader and you’ll find 5 in 30 minutes.

I have not ridden a banker either, but interested. I have an OG squash 59, fusion 59, and squash split 63. Briefly had a squash 63 as well. Based on what I have gathered from these nitro boards, the way their progressive sidecuts are, the flex, the camber… I think the banker is going to be a more “normal” directional board that is stiff and wants to go fast down the hill, like the fusion, and carve at higher speeds. Not a super directional feeling to them like the LL, but yes the noses are bigger looking.

The banker would probably be more similar to a flight attendant, but with a more open sidecut temperament. That may be more to your liking, I just don’t quite think it is like the landlord, really. The old full-camber malolo was my first pow board & changed my life. LL is a modern malolo - had the 2015 159 briefly.

If you are looking at nitro, I would probably guess the squash is actually more similar to the landlord. A little more directional, shovel nose, maneuverable but powerful tail, etc.

I recall @qurph was all about the landlord, and when he had to switch, he found the dumptruck to be a great replacement.

That said, I can’t think of anything that is truly similar to it, so I would suggest trying to find one on snowboard trader. I recall seeing a 159 for sale last week for a decent price.

And whatever you do, absolutely do not purchase a barracuda as a replacement. Often deceiving; not the same.

Try the Burton Outlets in Grove City, PA, or Orlando FL...I saw a LL 159 at grove city not long ago...they ship too for cheap === Just call them.

The closest thing would be a Dump Truck if you can find one.  They have a different nose shape, but the specs were identical.  Same effective edge, running length, radius, waist width - it was essentially an updated Landlord.

Great as the LL is, the Dump Truck is significantly better at holding a rail, stomping landings, riding switch, and is the floatiest deck I've ever had in pow.

If you can find a 158, grab it!
