I hope it's at least more riding focused. Elias is the shit, though I think he shouldn't venture too deep into "film making" and focus most on what he does best, riding.

I watched it last night, well most of it, I was fucking around on my phone and had it on while winding down from soccer. It's a great 30 minutes.

Was surprised to see Curt's name on it as well. I suppose they're friends and also there probably aren't all that many people that have the chops to do what he knows how to do so... I hope to see it soon.

I'll never forget seeing AOF in 3D at the theater and how blown away I was. It was like a total experience and different than just watching that film on a TV.

Yea, I wasn't that hyped on it. It wasn't Fourth Phase bad, by any means, but Depth Perception got me much more hyped to go ride than Dark Matter did.

Maybe it's because Depth Perception had a lot more relatable riding in it. Stuff I can and do ride, with a couple of exceptions.

All most all of Dark Matter is stuff that you and I are never gonna ride, so for me, not as relatable or inspiring.

Definitely agreed. I still watch Depth Perception every month or so each season.

I saw it last month here in Seattle at a "premier" deal hosted at C3 by Travis. It was cool hearing him talk about the behind the scenes stuff, and pretty amazing to hear how few people were involved. It was basically two filmers (one of whom flew a drone), a guide or two, the heli pilot, Travis and Elias, and then Curt Morgan doing the post-productions stuff. He did a whole Q&A session after the screening, and people were wacky with the idol worship questions. It made me uncomfortable.

it was good, but too short at just under 30min. The riding is as expected, insanely high level AK lines. I do agree about being relatable, and something about it just didn't hold my interest like a typical travis movie does
