Dude, very well spec'd bikes.  I take it you're a fan of the Push coil?  I just ordered one for my GG Smash.  My big Summer purchase was a Transition Spur.  Stock X01 build, but I changed up the cockpit a bit, swapped the OneUp dropper for a Bike Yoke Revive, and put on I9 Carbon wheels.  It's a ridiculously fun bike.

Thanks. Yeah I'm digging the push. I'm not sure if its really worth it I got mine for a hell of a deal for the Druid on pink bike. Hows the GG? I almost got one but then ended up getting the Evil instead. Baller on the i9 carbon wheels oof I'm cheap I go for the budget $780 wheel set. The spur sounds sweet Druid is a lot of fun I need to try it with the dpx2 it came with everyone says its really good. The druid on trails reminds me of the playfulness of the 5010 but on the down it feels like the wreckoning it climbs super well. Its seems like the perfect bike for Bend trails.

Should I keep the Demo 8 aka Pig with upgrading it next season and buy a cheaper trail bike or balls out on a Commencal Clash Öhlins?

my main ride is a gravel bike, big fan. just need to get out of the city to ride more.

picked up a hard tail 29’er (Fuji Tahoe 1.5) to hit the trails around here, but seem to have gotten a defunct fork :/ luckily we carry the same style for our in-house brand, so I’ll probably snag one of those while I wait for a replacement/repair kit from Rockshox.

so, that Tahoe got jacked off of my car's rack about a month after this post, after me waiting a month for a replacement fork and finally just swapping it out myself.

luckily we've got a handful of demo/warranty Bobtrax/Marquettes from our Framed brand that use almost all of the same components, so our warranty dept. is hooking me up with one of those that I'll most likely swap the frame out for something like a Kona Honzo this spring, or maybe I'll save up for one of these bad boys

I really love the Smash.  I have it set up with a 160 fork, and it's awesome going down, without being a pig going up.  Most of my rides are in the 15-25 mile range, and 3,000 - 4,000 ft of climbing, and it's surprisingly efficient for what it is.  Great all around bike.  GG's modular platform is pretty cool.  I can't see ever using it as a 2 bikes in 1 kind of thing, where I'm switching back and forth, but I did by the bike as a Trail Pistol, and converted it to a Smash a little over a year ago.  $1K for a seat stay kit, new shock, and air shaft to increase travel on the fork, and I had a whole new bike.

the clash will definitely be more playful.. but if your riding is a mix of local trails and lift days, having two bikes is pretty nice
